We will not do them all! Fr Austin’s plan is this: each week to consider one sermon that is connected to our place in the liturgical year. 

This week we look at another Easter sermon by John Henry Newman: ‚ÄúSaving Knowledge,‚Äù a sermon for Easter Monday on the text, ‚ÄúHereby do we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.‚Äù It’s sermon 14 in volume 2 of Parochial and Plain Sermons, and you can find it here. (But there is no expectation that you will have read the sermon before class.) Newman continues to nourish us with his profound understanding of Scripture. We hope you’ll be able to join the class.
